More private facilities in Penang to administer vaccine shots

GEORGE TOWN: Penang has added another 26 private facilities to the existing Covid-19 vaccination centres which can administer booster shots.Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said the new facilities would complement the existing 47 locations.

He said the state Health Department had also received two applications to set up a Health Care Organisation booster dose injection centre in a larger hall with the capacity to administer more than 1,000 injections per day.
