Jendela: 6.43 million premises provided with access to fibre optic network


KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): A total of 6.43 million premises nationwide have been provided with access to fibre optic network under Phase One of the National Digital Network Plan (JENDELA), as of Aug 31, the Dewan Negara was told on Thursday (Oct 14).

Deputy Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Zahidi Zainul Abidin said under the plan which started in September 2020, the mobile broadband speed has also been increased from 25 Megabits per second (Mbps) to 31.34 Mbps.
