GEORGE TOWN: Penangites are advised to brace for heavy rain until Thursday (Oct 7).

Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) Penang division spokesman Ramlan Ab Rahman said the state has been placed under a warning alert until Thursday.
