A HETEROLOGOUS “mix and match” approach will be carried out for those eligible for booster vaccine shots or the use of a vaccine different from the original vaccine received by an individual, starting this month, says Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin.
Following a study on safety, he said it was recommended to the Special Committee for Ensuring Access to Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV) to allow for a heterologous vaccination approach.
