Kudos to Transport Ministry team, says Dr Wee after wind-up debate in Parliament


PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong congratulated his team after successfully concluding his wind-up debate on the Royal Address in Dewan Rakyat on Wednesday (Sept 22).

The Transport Minister said among the issues he touched on were drunk-driving, container trucks from southern Thailand, the involvement of local workers in the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL), the status of the Sandakan and Tawau airports upgrading projects, the proposed construction of the Kulim Airport, the upgrading status of the Sepanggar Bay Container Port and the cabotage policy.
