Covid-19: Perak residents can walk in to any PPV in the state to get their jabs, says MB

IPOH: Perak residents aged 18 and above who have yet to receive their Covid-19 vaccination jabs can walk in to any of the 22 vaccination centres (PPV) in the state, says Datuk Saarani Mohamad.

The Perak Mentri Besar said walk-in centres will be available in each district.

“We received feedback from people stating that they have yet to get any appointments on their MySejahtera app.

“They are probably unaware of the walk-in centres. Thus I am urging those who have not gotten any appointments to immediately go to such centres.

“The walk-in centres will be available until Oct 31 only,” he told a press conference after the state executive council meeting at the state secretariat here on Wednesday (Sept 22).

The walk-in centres, he added, are also open to foreigners residing here, expatriates as well as illegal immigrants.

Saarani said that as of Monday (Sept 20), 1.55 million people, or 83.57% of the state's adult population, have received the first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.

He said that as for the second dose, 1.15 million people, or 61.9% of the adult population, have been fully inoculated.
