Several localities in Sabah, Pahang and Kelantan under EMCO from Sept 15-28


PETALING JAYA: Localities in three states have been issued the enhanced movement control order (MCO).

National Security Council (NSC) director-general Datuk Rodzi Md Saad said that the enhanced MCO would be imposed on four localities in Sabah, one in Pahang and two in Kelantan from Sept 15.

In Sabah, the enhanced MCO has been issued in areas in Kalabakan, Kota Marudu and Kota Kinabalu.

Over in Pahang, the enhanced MCO has been placed within Kerdau as well as two areas in Tumpat, Kelantan.

All newly announced enhanced MCO would be set to end on Sept 28.

The enhanced MCO at Kampung Lotong in Kota Marudu, Sabah and Kampung Temalian in Pahang has been extended until Sept 28 from its original end date of Sept 14.

Five areas in Tawau and Tongo, Sabah, as well as in Kuala Krai, Kelantan, will also see the enhanced lockdowns there end on Sept 14 as scheduled.
