Duo fined RM3,500 each for advertising unlicensed moneylending services

SEREMBAN: Two men have been fined RM3,500 each in default eight months' jail by a Magistrate's Court here for putting up posters and distributing pamphlets on behalf of an unlicensed moneylender.

Woon Wan Pau, 42, and Tan Hai Liang, 37, pleaded guilty to the offence before magistrate Mahyun Yusof on Monday (Sept 13).
