Dr Wee among MPs at Parliament as King opens first sitting of fourth session of 14th Parliament


KUALA LUMPUR: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah arrived at the Parliament Building at about 10am to open the first meeting of the fourth term of the 14th Parliament.

Ayer Hitam MP Dr Wee Ka Siong was among the MPs in the august House waiting for the King's arrival and uploaded selfies and pictures of him and several other MPs in the Dewan Rakyat on Monday (Sept 13).

“Getting ready to welcome His Majesty, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, to officiate at the opening ceremony of the sitting of the 14th Parliament and to deliver the Royal Address," the Transport Minister said in a Facebook post Monday.

In the post, Dr Wee uploaded pictures of him with Housing Minister Datuk Seri Reezal Merican, Communications and Multimedia Minister Tan Sri Annuar Musa and Education Minister Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin.
