Yuna’s cover of ‘Bella Ciao’ gets the thumbs up

MALAYSIAN singer-songwriter Yuna has released a cover of Bella Ciao, the theme song for the TV series Money Heist which has received overwhelming response from Malaysian fans, according to Harian Metro.

The song was accompanied by the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, rendering a new spin on the original which was more upbeat.

The video of this cover has so far racked up more than 495,000 views, 29,500 likes and 1,170 comments, proving its popularity among the public.

Money Heist is currently entering its fifth season and is eagerly awaited by fans both locally and internationally.

Its plot centres around a heist in Spain and it features an ensemble cast comprising Alvaro Morte, Ursula Corbero, Itziar Ituno, Miguel Herran, Jaime Lorente, Pedro Alonso, Esther Acebo, Alba Flores, Darko Peric and more.

Port Dickson OCPD Supt Aidi Sham Mohamed said the male suspects aged between 21 and 70 were detained in Ops Sarang at an oil palm plantation, reported Berita Harian Online.

He added that heroin and syabu were also seized during the raid.

Supt Aidi Sham said a urine test on the suspects found 44 of them positive for morphine and one positive for methamphetamine.

“Besides teenagers, there are also senior citizens involved in drug addiction such as the 70-year-old who was arrested,” he said.
