GOF seizes 1,661 cartons of contraband cigs, suspect arrested in Pontian

PONTIAN: The General Operations Force (GOF) has arrested a 57-year-old man and seized 1,661 cartons of contraband cigarettes here.

GOF 5th Battalion commanding officer Supt Dimin Awang said the suspect was arrested at about 4.30pm on Friday (Sept 3) while the items were seized at two locations around Taman Pontian Jaya.
