PM leaves Istana Abdulaziz in Kuantan after audience with King

KUANTAN: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has just left Istana Abdulaziz here at about 1:38pm after an audience with Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.

The Prime Minister had reached Istana Abdulaziz here at 10.54am on Thursday (Aug 26) and it is believed that the almost three-hour long audience was to discuss Ismail Sabri's proposed Cabinet list.

Ismail Sabri waved to members of the press waiting outside the palace, but otherwise did not make any comment.

The newly-minted Prime Minister was supposed to present the list to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong for approval on Wednesday (Aug 25) but it was understood the audience was postponed as His Majesty is in Kuantan.
