Families displaced by floods find refuge in shelters


KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 153 people from 44 families are still at six temporary flood relief centres in Kedah, Perak and Penang following a sudden deluge in the states.

As of yesterday, in Kedah, two evacuees from one family were placed at SMK Agama Yan while 32 people from six families were in SK Sungai Salleh and SK Selama in Bandar Baru.
