Covid-19: Over 80% of new patients on Saturday (Aug 14) not fully vaccinated, says Health DG


PETALING JAYA: A total of 87.2% of the new Covid-19 infections on Saturday (Aug 14) involve those who have yet to receive any vaccine doses or have yet to complete their inoculation regimen.

On this, Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah added that only 12.8% or 2,646 of the total 20,670 new Covid-19 cases reported on Saturday involve those who have completed their vaccination, which includes the two-week period after their second dose.
