AG Idrus Harun arrives at Istana Negara


KUALA LUMPUR: Scores of media personnel are camped out in front of the main gate at Istana Negara on Wednesday (Aug 4).

They are waiting for the arrival of Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin for his audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

Reporters, photographers and videographers have been camped out here from as early as 7am.

It is learnt that Attorney General Tan Sri Idrus Harun entered the palace grounds at around 9.30am.

A strong police presence was also seen at the palace gate.

They have also set up a police barricade at the access road to the palace from Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim and only media personnel as well as those with official business are allowed to pass.
