Covid-19: Walk-in vaccinations for elderly at Dewan Millenium off to a good start

KEPALA BATAS: A stream of senior citizens made their way into Dewan Millenium here as walk-in Covid-19 vaccinations began on Monday (Aug 2).

Several of them had registered but have yet to receive their appointments on MySejahtera while others have yet to register.

Most of them were dropped off by their children at the entrance where Rela personnel and volunteers then helped to escort them to the registration counter where they will be divided between those with MySejahtera appointments and those walking in.

The process was quick and took only about an hour from arrival to departure for those who arrived early at 8am for their walk-in vaccination.

With a capacity of dispensing 2,000 doses daily, the vaccination centre in Dewan Millenium is expected to see higher traffic than usual following the opening of walk-in vaccinations.
