He was first diagnosed on July 19, and was later classified as a Category 4 patient several days later.
“Let us continue praying that Shazni will be granted strength and recovery,” said PKR Youth chief Akmal Nasir in a tweet.
He also included a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation, which said that Shazni has now been listed as a Category 5 patient.
Shazni Munir, who is also Parti Amanah Negara Youth chief, had suffered from high fever, headache and body aches when he was diagnosed.
Category 5 is the most severe form of Covid-19, which means patients are in critical condition and required assisted ventilation.
Category 4 patients suffer from pneumonia and require oxygen support, while Category 3 patients are those who suffer from pneumonia.
Category 2 patients are those who have mild symptoms, while Category 1 patients are asymptomatic.
