Covid-19: Over 512,000 vaccine doses administered on Friday (July 30)

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia has maintained its momentum in its fight against Covid-19, administering 512,097 vaccine doses on Friday (July 30).

The Special Committee on Ensuring Access to Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV) said in a tweet on Saturday (July 31) that out of the number, 315,737 received their first dose while 196,360 received their second dose.

Of this, the number of people who received at least the first dose stand at 20,014,549

and from this number, 13,500,749 have received one dose while 6,514,070 have completed the two-dose regimen of the Covid-19 vaccine.

This also means that 57.7% of Malaysia's adult population has received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, while 27.8% have received two doses.
