Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

KUALA LUMPUR: After Hari Raya Haji, the government is expected to announce more details on the proposed relaxation of restrictions for those who have been fully vaccinated, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

The Deputy Prime Minister said the matter was being discussed in detail now.

"We will give leeway, the Technical Committee is studying the proposal thoroughly on individuals as well as the business sectors allowed to be involved in the relaxation of restrictions.

"Insya-Allah, more will be announced after Hari Raya," he told reporters after launching the Mindef Prihatin programme at Wisma Pertahanan on Monday (July 19).

Ismail Sabri also said that the Health Ministry would study what to do for those who could not receive their second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine due to allergies, severe side effects or health issues.
