TONGUES are wagging about celebrity Zarina Anjoulie and actor-TV host Zoey Rahman after they were often seen doing live recordings together on Instagram, Metro Ahad reported.
“Please pray for us,” said Zoey, when asked about his ties with Zarina, 34.
Zoey, 36, explained that he got to know Zarina when they were filming a movie in 2010.
“At that point, we were just friends,” he said, adding that they met again at a beauty treatment clinic early this year, “which was a coincidence”.
“If you ask whether we are in love, all I can say is that we are friendly and getting to know one another,” he said.
Zarina announced in May that she had divorced for the second time.
She was previously married to a Bruneian national from 2015 to 2016. They have a four-year-old son.
The daily also reported that Khairul Amirah Tiss Shahirah Hashim, 25, her husband Mohd Shazwan Ismail, 29, and their one-year-old daughter had been living in the car for about a week due to financial woes.
The car would be parked at a petrol station or any other suitable location.
Khairul Amirah said they had offered the car as collateral to anyone who was interested so that they would have the cash to buy daily essentials and to rent a place to stay.
The collateral advertisement of their car which was uploaded by Mohd Shazwan had gone viral on social media.
“Previously, we were living with our family, but we left because of certain problems.
“My husband told me that his friend had invited us to stay at his house, but in the end, we decided to stay in our car,” she said.
She said Mohd Shazwan was a drink seller but his source of income was not stable.
She said that she was a business graduate from a college in Negri Sembilan, but could not find a job as she was busy taking care of her daughter.
An NGO has come forward to find a rented house for them.
