Covid-19: 5, 671 new cases, 2, 279 of it in the Klang Valley


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 5, 671 Covid-19 cases on Thursday (June 10), bringing the cumulative total to 639, 562.

In the same 24-hour period, there were 73 fatalities, bringing the death toll to 3, 684.

There were also 7, 325 recoveries, which means 556, 030 have recovered from the disease nationwide.

There are still 911 patients in intensive care units, with 462 requiring ventilation support.

Selangor had the most cases with 1, 510 cases, followed by Kuala Lumpur (769) and Sarawak (631).
