SEREMBAN: All public parks and recreational areas under the purview of the Seremban City Council will be temporarily closed from Thursday (June 3).
The council said in a statement that although some of these facilities are still managed by the developers, they will have to close until June 14 because of the nationwide lockdown.
The parks ordered to close are the Seremban Lake Gardens, Taman Malaysia, Bicycle Square, Orchid Square, S2 Park Seremban 2, S2 Hill Park S2 Heights, Forest Height Park, Nilai Square, Sendayan Green Park, Rantau Square and Tasik Ujana in Nilai Impian.
Others are the Knowledge Square Recreational Lake and Bakawali Square Recreational Park (both in Kota Seriemas) and the Enstek Recreational Lake.
Only essential economic and service sectors are allowed to operate during the lockdown from June 1 to 14.
