PETALING JAYA: The decision by the Prime Minister, ministers and their deputies to forego three months of their salary to help finance the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic is a welcome gesture of solidarity with the people, say civil society groups and analysts.
Transparency International Malaysia president Dr Muhammad Mohan (pic) described the pay cut to be “quite significant” when the total amount is taken into account.
