PETALING JAYA: The Sungai Buloh Hospital is among two recipients of personal protective equipment (PPE) worth RM40,000.

In a statement on Tuesday (June 1), Malaysian Volunteer Corps (Rela) honorary commissioner Datuk Seri Michael Chong said that the donations were also made to the Petaling district health office on Monday (May 31).

He added that he hoped the vaccination efforts would be quickened in order to combat the pandemic.

"Although we are still lagging behind other neighbouring countries, we are seeing a lot of improvement," he said.
