Perak mufti Harussani’s passing a great loss to the country, says Dr Wee

PETALING JAYA: The country has lost a leader who had made great contributions to society, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong following the death of Tan Sri Harussani Zakaria.

The Transport Minister offered his condolences to the family members of the late Perak mufti.

“May his soul be blessed,” he said in a Facebook post on Sunday (May 30).

Harussani had passed away earlier Sunday at about 2.45pm at the age of 82.

He was reportedly diagnosed with Covid-19 about two weeks ago and had been warded at the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital’s intensive care unit in Ipoh.
