Customers limited to two hours at retail premises from May 25, says Consumer Affairs Minister


PETALING JAYA: Shoppers at retail premises will have to watch the clock from Tuesday (May 25) when standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the movement control order are tightened by the government to curb the rising number of Covid-19 cases.

Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi (pic) said that they would only be allowed to remain on the premises for a maximum of two hours under the tightened SOP.
