Ismail Sabri: No interstate travel allowed during Raya


PETALING JAYA: The ban on interstate travel will not be lifted for Hari Raya Aidilfitri, says Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

“Interstate travel is still not allowed, except between recovery movement control order states under the green travel bubble concept.

“This means traveling with an agency registered under Motac (Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry).

“However, travel between districts within the state is allowed, except in Sabah and Sarawak. based on the respective state governments’ decision, ” he said in a press conference on Tuesday (April 27).

Hari Raya Aidilfitri will either be on May 13 or 14, depending on the sighting of the moon by religious authorities.
