Hari Raya SOP still being reviewed, says Ismail Sabri

PETALING JAYA: The standard operating procedure for Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations is still being reviewed, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

The Senior Minister said the Islamic Development Department of Malaysia (Jakim) was still studying the matter, along with other bodies of authority.

“Jakim is still fine-tuning the SOPs, along with the Health Ministry and the National Security Council.

“Insya-Allah (God willing), when it is completed we will announce it in the nearest time possible.

“Once again, I want to remind everyone to exercise self-control and to avoid overcrowded places.

“Our lifestyle has changed, so we must adapt to the new normal, ” he said in a press conference on Tuesday (April 27).
