Four who allegedly assaulted bodyguards for fasting remanded


KLANG: Four men were remanded for five days beginning Thursday (April 15) to assist the investigation into the alleged assault of two bodyguards here recently.

The remand order was issued by Magistrate Solehah Noratikah Ismail at the Klang Court on Thursday.

Those remanded are aged between 38 to 46 and were employees of a man who had allegedly assaulted the two bodyguards because he did not like them fasting.

The four men were picked up by the South Klang police at 9.00pm on Wednesday (April 14).

The case is being investigated under Section 324, Section 506 and Section 298 of the Penal Code.

Earlier on Thursday, Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Zainal Abdullah said that the main suspect in the assault has been remanded until April 17.
