Woman loses bracelet to snatch thief in Bangi sundry shop

KAJANG: A 22-year-old woman's bracelet was stolen while she was inside a sundry shop in Bangi Lama here.

Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zaid Hassan said the housewife was shopping for groceries when a man approached her at the shop in Kampung Rinching Hilir at about 2pm on Monday (April 5).

"The suspect snatched the victim's bracelet and escaped on a motorcycle which was parked nearby.

"The victim did not sustain any injuries," he said on Tuesday (April 6).

ACP Mohd Zaid urged those with information to contact investigating officer Asst Supt Mohd Radzee Jamudi at 019-665 5811 or the nearest police station.

"We are investigating the case under Section 392 of the Penal Code for robbery," he added.
