Clerk harassed, assaulted at condo parking lot in Kajang

KAJANG: A clerk was allegedly harassed and attacked by a man near the parking lot of a condominium complex along Persiaran Suntex here.

Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zaid Hassan said the incident occurred at 2.41am on Sunday (April 4).

"A 24-year-old woman claims that she was parking her car when a man approached her on a motorcycle and tried to start a conversation. The woman alleged that the man then tried to open his trousers but stopped his act when he realised she was recording the encounter with her mobile phone," he said in a statement on Tuesday (April 6).

ACP Mohd Zaini said the man then took an object from his motorcycle basket and flung it at the driver's side window of her car, causing it to shatter.

"The man attempted to grab her mobile phone but the woman screamed. He fled the scene," he said adding that the victim suffered injuries to her right hand.

ACP Mohd Zaini urged anyone with information on the case to contact Sjn Rahmad Abdul Aziz at 019-3693083 or go to the nearest police station.
