Teacher – innovator and an inspiration

Internationally recognised: Gomathy showing the various local and international awards she had won since 2008. She was recently announced as Malaysia’s sole winner in this year’s International Woman Achiever award.

JOHOR BARU: By day, she is a science teacher in a rural school but by night and in her free time, S. Gomathy is a passionate inventor and a problem solver.

The mother of two, who has been teaching for 24 years, has been using her spare time to come up with a variety of inventions and innovations which has earned her numerous international recognition.
