Every policeman must know how to handle persons with autism, says IGP

KUALA LUMPUR: All police personnel and officers must thoroughly understand the standard operating procedure (SOP) in handling persons with autism, says Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador.

The Inspector-General of Police said all those in the police force should know by now the specific ways to deal with those with autism as the SOP guidebook has been introduced in March 2019.
