KUALA LUMPUR: At first glance, it seemed like a usual case for the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry when it received some complaints on price hikes of certain goods, especially food items, on a tourist island.
The ministry shared its preliminary findings with the Malaysia Competition Commission (MyCC), which found the price hike baffling.
