JOHOR BARU: Johor’s Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar graced a ceremony to confer state awards, medals and honours in conjunction with His Majesty’s 63rd birthday at Istana Bukit Serene here.
Present duirng the ceremony at Balai Menghadap, was Permaisuri Johor Raja Zarith Sofiah Binti Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah, here on Tuesday (March 23).
Also present were Tunku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim and his wife Che’ Puan Khaleeda Bustamam, Tunku Temenggong Johor Tunku Idris Iskandar Al-Haj Ibni Sultan Ibrahim and Tunku Putera Johor Tunku Abu Bakar Al-Haj Ibni Sultan Ibrahim.
During the ceremony, Sultan Ibrahim conferred the Darjah Kerabat Johor Yang Amat Dihormati Pangkat Kedua (DK II) to Raja Puan Besar Perak Raja Nazhatul Shima Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah.
His Majesty also conferred the Darjah Mahkota Johor Yang Amat Mulia Pangkat Pertama Dato’ Sri Paduka Mahkota Johor (SPMJ), which carries the title Datuk on Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad.
In a statement posted on Sultan Ibrahim’s official Facebook page, His Majesty also conferred the Darjah Sultan Ibrahim Johor Yang Amat Disanjungi Pangkat Kedua Dato’ Mulia Sultan Ibrahim Johor (DMIJ), which carries the title Datuk on three individuals.
They are Johor Baru district officer Datuk Abdul Rahman Salleh, Pasir Gudang City Council mayor Datuk Asman Shah Abd Rahman and Johor deputy mufti Datuk Ahmad Faisal Mohamed.
Meanwhile, five other individuals also received the Darjah Sultan Ibrahim Johor Yang Amat Disanjungi Pangkat Ketiga Setia Mulia Sultan Ibrahim Johor (SIJ).
They are Kota Tinggi district officer Hazlina Jalil, Kulai district officer Zainor Adani, Sultanah Aminah Hospital director Dr Mohtar Pungut Ahmad, state Health Department deputy director Dr Shaharom Nor Azian Che Mat Din and state Kadi Besar Halid Sono.
