‘Provide proper dorms for workers’

PUTRAJAYA: Employers who cannot convince the Labour Department that they can provide proper accommodation for their foreign workers will not be allowed to get new foreign workers, says the Human Resources Ministry.

Minister Datuk Seri M. Saravanan said the changes in the Workers’ Minimum Standards of Housing and Amenities Act 1990, also known as Act 446, will ensure that Malaysia is on the right path towards improving the living conditions of foreign workers in the country.
