Health Ministry: 2,437 new cases for 300,752 total, nine new deaths


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 2,437 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday (Feb 28), bringing the cumulative total to 300,752.

In a tweet, the Health Ministry said within the same 24-hour period, there were nine fatalities, bringing the death toll to 1,130.

Another 3,251 patients were discharged from medical facilities, which means 273,417 have recovered from the disease nationwide.

In total, there are 26,205 active cases nationwide.

From this number, 202 are in intensive care units, with 93 requiring ventilation support.
