PUTRAJAYA: The enhanced movement control order placed on three villages in Besut, Terengganu will be lifted on Feb 27, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob (pic).
The Senior Minister (Security) said that health authorities had carried out 108 screenings on villagers in Kg Darau-Awek, Kg Padang Baloh and Kg Lepan Kejor, located in the Pasir Akar sub-district in Besut.
Results from the swab tests saw 39 individuals testing positive for Covid-19.
“Health authorities have informed that all positive cases had recovered and were discharged and that close contacts to the positive cases had completed their quarantine.
“The government has agreed to end the enhanced MCO enforced on the three villages on Feb 27 as scheduled,” he said on Thursday (Feb 25).
