‘SOP compliance vital now’


PETALING JAYA: With the reopening of the retail sector and other businesses, health experts warned that the level of compliance and enforcement of standard operating procedures will determine whether Covid-19 cases can be contained in the community.

Universiti Malaya epidemiologist Prof Datuk Dr Awang Bulgiba Awang Mahmud cautioned that the current reported number of new cases may not reflect the infection in the community as not all contacts are being tested.
