PETALING JAYA: Politicians across the divide have joined the community in voicing their disapproval of the updated Covid-19 standard operating procedure for the upcoming Chinese New Year that is set to restrict family gatherings.

MCA secretary-general Datuk Chong Sin Woon urged the National Security Council (NSC) to review and amend the SOP by taking into account the traditional customs of the Chinese community.
