SHAH ALAM: Five suspected drug pushers were detained following several raids conducted in the Klang Valley and Negri Sembilan.

Bukit Aman Narcotics Crime Investigation Department deputy director Deputy Comm Datuk Kamarulzaman Mamat said the first two suspects were caught offloading ganja that had been hidden inside a trailer lorry on Feb 1.

“We conducted four raids simultaneously. Two of the suspects were arrested in an industrial area in Subang.

“They were caught in the midst of transferring the drugs from the trailer lorry into another car for distribution, ” he said in a press conference at the Selangor police contingent headquarters on Thursday (Feb 4).

The other arrests were made in Pantai Dalam, Seremban and Seri Petaling, he added.

Around 149.23kg of suspected ganja, worth around RM373,075, were seized in the Subang raid.
