KOTA KINABALU: Neither the Sabah government nor the police have barred popular Muslim preacher Ebit Lew from carrying out humanitarian work for people living on the islands in Semporna on Sabah's east coast.
Datuk Masidi Manjun said the state government did not object to Ebit going to the islands but the area was under a dusk-to-dawn curfew enforced by the Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom).
