BUTTERWORTH: A man in his 30s was severely injured after his car skidded and hit a tree here.
Penang Fire and Rescue Department fire operations and safety officer Nafis Ariff Abdullah said that a man was found trapped in the car when personnel arrived at the scene at Jalan Pinang Tunggal, Kampung Lahar Tiang in Kepala Batas
“There was a male victim and he was stuck in the car. The operations commander instructed his men to remove the trapped victim using rescue tools.
“The victim was successfully saved at 11.08pm on Monday (Jan 25) and he suffered serious injuries. He was then brought to the Kepala Batas Hospital for further treatment," said Nafis in a statement.
He added that the rescue operation ended at 11.30pm.
