PETALING JAYA: A police officer’s sacrifice of postponing his wedding in the name of duty has earned the praises of Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.
The Transport Minister praised Ahmad Zaim Nasreen Musa, who was supposed to tie the knot with his sweetheart Mas Ayuvita Azizul on Sunday (Jan 17) in Gemas, Negri Sembilan.
“However, due to his responsibility to the nation, Ahmad Zaim had postponed his big day.
“This is a very big sacrifice. Please appreciate the sacrifices of our front liners. #Salute #JagaNegaraKita, ” said Dr Wee on a Facebook posting on Sunday (Jan 17).
He had also posted a picture of Ahmad Zaim holding a note saying “Sepatutnya Hari Ini Saya Nikah 17.01.21” (I was supposed to get married today 17.01.21).
Dr Wee also saluted the frontliners for their sacrifices.
