PETALING JAYA: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah are making their way to visit flood victims in Pahang on Tuesday (Jan 5).
In an Instagram post, the Queen said the King himself will be personally driving to Maran, Pahang.
"All set for Maran..Tuanku is driving himself," she said.
In the postings on her Instagram account airtangan_tunkuazizah, the royal couple uploaded photos of them in the car.
"Balik kampung..(going back to kampung).
"Please pray for Pahang, Johor and Terengganu.
"Ya Allah, please save our country," said the Queen.
The postings, as of 10am, received almost 12,000 likes, with hundreds of well-wishes towards the royal couple.
The danger alert for weather in several states in the peninsula continues with incessant rain brought about by the northeast monsoon.
The Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) issued a warning Monday (Jan 4), saying heavy rainfall is expected to continue in Terengganu, Pahang and Johor on Tuesday (Jan 5).
