Death threats made against Johor top cop

JOHOR BARU: Johor police will be working closely with their Selangor counterparts after death threats were made against state police chief Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay.

Comm Ayob, who was previously Bukit Aman Special Branch Counter-Terrorism Division (E8) head before being promoted to Johor police chief in February this year, said investigations were ongoing to identify the suspects, believed to have links with the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE).
