Swift action by father, son save man after car swept away by flood waters


KEMAMAN (Bernama): Swift action by a father and son managed to save a civil servant whose vehicle was swept away at a flooded road in Kampung Batu 10 near the Chukai Toll Plaza exit Saturday (Dec 19).

In the incident at about 12.50pm, Ausdi Muhamed, 53, and his son Amir Syafiq, 28, were at their home when they received a phone call from a fellow villager informing them that a car had been swept away by floodwaters in the area.
