Zuraida: Enforcement of relevant legislation at workers' housing expected to curb spread of disease

KUALA LUMPUR: Enforcement of the Workers' Minimum Standards of Housing and Amenities Act (Amendment) is expected to help curb the spread of diseases, says Zuraida Kamaruddin.

The Housing and Local Government Minister added that this is also in line with the International Labor Organization (ILO) Workers Housing Recommendation 1961.
