Local authorities urged to crack down on pub, nightspot operators

PUTRAJAYA: The government has urged local authorities to take sterner action against operators of pubs and nightlife outlets who flout the movement control order (MCO).

Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said despite numerous warnings by the government, the number of individuals caught for activities at pubs continued to rise.
