THe Defence Minister said the government was aware of grouses of small traders as operating hours for such markets was limited from 10am until 2pm only during the CMCO.

"The Special National Security Council (NSC) meeting discussed the matter and decided to extend operating hours by two hours.

"The markets will be allowed to operate from 10am till 4pm, effective tomorrow (Nov 28)," he told reporters during his daily briefing on Friday (Nov 27).
